This was written as Ranger, following the Alliance and Merchant's Guild tracks. Later, I'll do more.

Sound

Sound is: Sound mute Mute-able once in the gameTo disable sound:

  • Start the game.
  • Go to Options (the little disc on the right).
  • Turn off sound and music.

Classes Edit

There are three character classes.

  • Warrior -- melee sword attacks, high armor, fast health recovery rate, high health
  • Wizard -- ranged spell attacks, high damage, fast energy recovery rate, high energy
  • Ranger -- ranged bow attacks, fast attacks, average energy/HP recovery rate, fast movement speed

Starting stats:

  • Gold: 30
  • Health: 90
  • Energy: 105
  • Int: 15

Levels Edit

The amount of XP per kill is equal to the target's level.

When you level up, each stat goes up by 1, and you gain 3 points to add to your stats as you like.

Each point in Vitality adds 4 Health.

Each point in Intelligence adds 2 Energy.

Abilities Edit

Each character has 6 abilities. The abilities level up the same, regardless of character. They are listed at the trainer in order of difficulty.

Level requirements:

  • Rank 1: 20 gold
  • Rank 2: 45 gold
  • Rank 3: 95 gold

Quests Edit

There are three competing areas of quests:

  • Politics: The Alliance vs. Shadow Runners
  • Acquisition: Merchant's Guild vs. The Mercenaries
  • Class: The Trackers vs. The Magicians vs. The Blademasters

You begin with the following levels of each:

  • The Alliance: Neutral (900/1000)
  • Shadow Runners: Unfriendly (900/1000)
  • Your class: Friendly (500/3000)
  • The other two classes: Neutral (100/1000)

Once you become at least unfriendly with a group, quests within that group are not available. Largely because a lot of the quests involve killing members of the rival group.

The quests tables list the level of the head person for each quest target -- for example, the Alliance quest "Get Off Our Land" targets Shadow Wizards, and the level of the head person in the Shadow Runner camp is 4. This should give a good indication as to whether you're good enough for the quest yet. Members of the camp will range from one below to one above the leader's level.

Faction allying Edit

Killing an enemy gives you +3 to your side (political, acquisition, class) and -3 to the side whose member you just killed.

  • Kill On Sight: 3000
  • Unfriendly: 1000
  • Neutral: 1000
  • Friendly: 3000
